What to expect
Sharing Circle
Birth is one of the most significant experiences of a woman’s life. It can hold joy, love, strength, grief, fear, surprise and everything in between — and every woman deserves the space to reflect on and make sense of her experience.

This is what we do in Mamma Circle — we come together to share our stories, and to listen deeply to the stories of other women. There is something very powerful and sacred about being witnessed in your experience, and about offering that same presence to another woman. Through sharing and listening, we create space for connection, understanding and belonging, while recognising the threads of our own experiences in one another.

Together, we create an intimate space where every story can be held, every experience can be honoured, and no mother has to feel alone in hers.

Movement and breath
We begin the circle with gentle movement and breathwork to help you feel grounded and comfortable before we begin to share.

Morning tea and connection
The circle concludes with tea, snacks and time to connect with other mums and bubs.

Logistics
We will spend most of the event seated on yoga mats and props, but please bring anything you need for your baby. Also know that feeding, sleeping, crying and fussing is expected and welcome!

This event is capped at 8 mummas to keep it cosy and intimate.

‘Birth is a rite of passage of women. Their journey should be honoured, their rights should be fiercely protected, and their stories should be shared.’
- Marcie Macari
